چکیده

A general class of four dimensional, stationary solutions of the Einstein-Maxwell system with a conformally coupled scalar field is constructed in this paper. The stationary case is presented and shown to belong to the Plebanski-Demianski family which implies that the static metric has the form of the C-metric. It is shown that in the static, AdS case, a new family of Black Holes arises. They turn out to be cohomogeneity two, with horizons that are not Einstein neither homogenous manifolds. The usual conical singularities present in the C-metric are automatically removed from the spacetime due to the backreaction of the scalar field. The scalar field carries a continuous parameter that resembles the usual acceleration present in the C-metric. When this parameter vanishes the static family it is shown to contain either to the dyonic Bocharova-Bronnikov-MelnikovBekenstein solution or the dyonic extension of the Martinez-Troncoso-Zanelli black holes, depending on the value of the cosmological constant.

On the absence of scalar hair for charged rotating black holes in non-minimally coupled theories S SEN and N BANERJEE

Recently there has been a considerable resurgence in the no scalar hair theorem for black holes. Investigations regarding no hair theorem, however, had started about thirty years ago [1]. Inspired by Israel’s uniqueness theorem for Schwarzschild and Reissner–Nordstrom black holes [2] and Carter [3] and Wald’s [4] uniqueness theorem for Kerr black holes, Wheeler anticipated that gravitational co...

New no-scalar-hair theorem for black-holes

A new no-hair theorem is formulated which rules out a very large class of non-minimally coupled finite scalar dressing of an asymptotically flat, static, and spherically symmetric black-hole. The proof is very simple and based in a covariant method for generating solutions for non-minimally coupled scalar fields starting from the minimally coupled case. Such method generalizes the Bekenstein me...

A ug 2 00 7 Scalar - tensor black holes coupled to Euler - Heisenberg nonlinear electrodynamics

The no-scalar-hair conjecture rules out the existence of asymptotically flat black holes with a scalar dressing for a large class of theories. No-scalar-hair theorems have been proved for the cases of neutral black holes and for charged black holes in the Maxwell electrodynamics. These theorems, however, do not apply in the case of non-linear electrodynamics. In the present work numerical solut...

8 Phases of 4 D Scalar - tensor black holes coupled to Born - Infeld non - linear electrodynamics

Recent results show that when non-linear electrodynamics is considered the no-scalar-hair theorems in the scalar-tensor theories (STT) of gravity, which are valid for the cases of neutral black holes and charged black holes in the Maxwell electrodynamics, can be circumvented [1, 2]. What is even more, in the present work, we find new non-unique, numerical solutions describing charged black hole...
